Our strength is that we’re a “covenant people, committed to a practice of mutual respect.” As Congregationalists, Brea Congregational UCC members aren’t expected to subscribe to a set of beliefs. To us the essence of the church is fellowship – a unity of spirit between member and member, and a unity of spirit between the church’s people and God. We don’t promise to believe, we promise to seek. We don’t value the church because it provides answers; we value the church because it’s a place where we can ask questions together. Our deepest joy comes from supporting each other on the journey.
