Music Ministry
Chancel Choir
Led by Choir Director Linda Hammontree and accompanied by organist Alice Fields, the Brea Congregational UCC Chancel Choir performs each Sunday, fall through spring. Music selections include contemporary arrangements, classic hymns, southern spirituals, bluegrass standards, and international favorites from around the world.
Pipe Organ
Beautifully played by Alice Fields, an accomplished organist, the church sanctuary is home to the only true pipe organ in North Orange County. Music specifically written for the pipe organ is a special and unique part of every worship service.
Special Music
During the choir’s summer hiatus, friends and members of the congregation are invited to share their musical abilities during the Sunday worship service. In addition, with many talented musicians and singers in our congregation, The House Band was created to provide musical support for members wanting to perform. Offering vocal, piano, and guitar accompaniment, The House Band has become a regular favorite.

Guest Musicians
Local musicians are often invited to share their music with the congregation. As a result of these special events, Brea Congregational UCC has been honored with exceptional performances on piano, organ, flute, saxophone, harp, violin, and even bagpipes! See some of our guest musicians live!
Hand Bell Choir
Under the direction of Linda Hammontree, the Brea Congregational UCC Hand Bell Choir practices seasonally and gives several special performances each year.
Children’s Choir
The Brea Congregational UCC Children’s Choir loves to perform. Supported by parents who help the children practice and rehearse, the Children’s Choir recitals are always rewarding for the children, their families, and the congregation.
