NOTE: The field trip to Peppermint Ridge in Corona will be rescheduled for fall.
The Rebecca Circle was formed to assist in the ministry of the church through hospitality and outreach programs. They meet the second Thursday of each month at 11:45am in Fellowship Hall. This group does not usually meet during the summer months.
Rebecca Circle Mission Statement
The Mission Statement for the Rebecca Circle is to assist in the ministry of the church through hospitality and outreach programs.
OBJECTIVES
(1) Provide hospitality services on an “as needed” basis for emergent ministerial services, and (2) Provide services to the shelter program as needed.
- Monthly meeting are held on the 2nd Thursday at 11:45am in Fellowship Hall. A $3.00 contribution is collected from each to help support church programs; i.e. Faith Formation, Youth Program, Man & Woman of the Year, and decorate and deliver Christmas trees or other special services for people in our thoughts.

Rebecca Circle:
- Provides hospitality services on an “as needed” basis for emergent ministerial services
- Provides support to the Interfaith Network Shelter program
- Stays in touch with absent or shut-in members of the congregation
- Processes and mails Sunday bulletins to absent or shut-in members of the congregation
- Hosts luncheons for the Brea Ministerial Association
- Hosts luncheons for special church programs and/or projects
- Selects the church members that will receive both the Man & Woman of the Year Awards to recognize their contributions to the church and the community
- Purchases, decorates, and delivers Christmas trees to people in need in our community
- Supports church youth programs through monthly meeting contributions
Rebecca Circle members also take occasional field trips. On one of their recent trips they visited the beautiful Hsi Lai Temple in Hacienda Heights to learn more about Chinese culture and Buddhism.
