Community Outreach
BCUCC is always looking for additional opportunities to extend our involvement in our community. If you have an idea, or hear of a situation where the church can offer fellowship, please contact Dennis Arp.
First Food Sunday
On the first Sunday of each month, we collect non-perishable food items for those in need in our community. The items are collected during the offering portion of the worship service.
Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain group supports members of the congregation in times of need through prayer. To ask to be included in the group’s prayers or to join the group, please email Claudia Ponting or call 714-529-3014.
Church Council Meetings
Brea Congregational UCC holds council meetings the third Monday of every month at 7PM in Harlow Lounge. If you’re interested in learning more about how the church operates, please plan to attend a meeting. Contact the Moderator, Dennis Arp.
Flower Schedule Sign-up
Providing flowers for the communion table during each Sunday’s worship service offers the opportunity to honor a loved one, or acknowledge a special person or event in your life. If you’re interested in bringing flowers, please sign-up on the kiosk, or email Claudia Ponting.
Choir Rehearsal
Led by our Music Director, Linda Hammontree, the Brea Congregational UCC Choir rehearses from Fall through Spring on Thursday evenings at 7:30PM in the Choir Room. If you’re interested in joining, contact Linda at 714.738.7972.
Media Exchange Center
If you would like to exchange books, CD’s, DVD’s, or magazines, check out the Media Exchange Center in Harlow Lounge. The current reading choices include books for all ages – fiction, non-fiction, reference, periodicals, and large print editions. Drop off items you are finished with, and pick up something new to read, watch or listen to
Refreshment Donation Basket
Your weekly donations provide paper products and drinks for our refreshment time after service each Sunday. Look for the donation basket near the refreshment table
